The usual. Putting oil in petrol tank. And petrol in oil tank.

Blimey, youd have to be complete retard to do that, or dumb, or dumber than that, what a stupid thing to do!:001_rolleyes:

I did it once when I started out, climber shouts down for a refill, which I did. Wrongly. I can't remember the exact phrases used, but it seemed to be a little derogatory, and questioned my parentage. Luckily I've only repeated it once since then, while laughing about the previous time with another, and guess what? I did it again. Of all the people I didn't want to do it to, simply because I knew how much stick I would be in for....for ever!! :001_rolleyes::lol:

Back from the dead, bit like this thread.

I remember it well, wondered why it was takin you sooooooo long to put the saw on, hiding in the bushes and the strong smell of petrol as you washed the tank out was a bit of a giveaway:lol:

Put petrol in my diesel motor, luckily realised my mistake and borrowed pump from local garage... All pumped out all fine... Anyhow I now have 50 litres of mixed petrol and diesel to get rid of.. hmmm I know, i'll put it through my motor mixing it at about 5-10%.... Motor ran absolutely fine, didn't even miss a beat until one day it went pufff.... New seals, injectors etc and about a £2k bill it runs fine again now...........Still don't know what to do with the rest of my petrol and diesel mix???

Worst thing is, motor less than three years old, if i had not mentioned to AA man about petrol, would have had it repaired on warranty.....doh

Some heaters run on fuel mixes. A local garage to me runs there's on a fuel to waste oil mix. Try and see if anyone in your area has one. They look good to me, thought about one for the workshop.
