we were sent too take a dead limb out of a large oak,we got to site pulled out the big shot ,throw bag ,pull rope walks to the oak ,decided to fire line over then attach heavy line to see if we could pull it out,craig passes me bag i place it in pouch of big shot pulls back fires the bag goes over the limb followed by around 80m of line never to be seen again..:mad1:the rest of the day didnt get any better...

Since eveything that isnt bolted down gets taken, I've been paranoid to say the least. So today I carefully strip out and fell an Ash in a tight space, no probs, I then carefully stow away all the gear before clearing up, remembering of course to lock the box afterwards, cos i'm that good! I then go move the vehicle forwards, now where are the damn keys? Search around fruitlessy for around half hour, empty all my pockets 3 times, have a fag to calm my temper. Then it dawns on me...... the keys are safely locked way in the box, including the key that opens the box!

Double bugger!!:blushing:
