Presuming your not from the uk? As a very rough guide you could expect to pay about 15-20% of that wage as tax.

You don't get taxed for the first £7.5k in the year, then 20% on earnings above. Not sure about NI

Doesnt that depend on your tax code? There are variances in that. Peters giude is better.
