It's going to become a monolith shortly regardless as there are brackets all round many layers up to about 1 m and houses located behind,

The crown is 50% dead

Next shots are underneath the bracket

Thankyou, the other dessicated bodies all round also match you pics in the fungi directory.

The tree had a 50% crown reduction approx 5 years ago. Now at least 50% of remaining crown is also dead.

Is this the tree ?

 

If so, you can just about make out the scar from an older fruiting of the dryadeus below the arrow.

 

If this was from a couple of years ago (google) then I can see where your coming from in terms of decline.
