IME the cheaper alternatives are not as good as silky.

 

Buy a silky and look after it... and if you can't afford one put your prices up!!!

How do you loose a silky?

 

It has been known for a leylandii to swallow a pruning saw.

 

I have bought a few Samurai, Felco's and silky's in the past and at half the cost of a Silky the Samurai is a good Japanese saw, I also found the Samurai will take the abuse well, jamming and bending!! Just wondered if there was any others I was missing.
