Try a place called Brandon's tool hire, we get ours from there, they have them in, take it it needs to go through a gate?

Battery operated but they don't last a full 8 hours, we took a genny to charge up at lunch. That's all I got to get one from, and they have both the hydraulic legs or manual legs.

Mine has hydraulic legs and is ex Brandon and lasts all day long even with constant moving of legs. Charging it of the generator during lunch may be the reson why it doesn't last long as will destroy the battery it needs a good 16 hours after running the battery completely down but if you use one with a good battery you can get away with over night charge after use to keep it topped up. Hopes ths helps. Sam

It was a hire machine so I didn't care about the bats. Had to do something as it looked stupid to quit a job after half day due to the picker not running long enough. The battery's were old and needed changing, told this after we took it back to exchange for another one.

Typical hire companies not keeping up with checks on there tools.

We were looking to buy one and I saw that they do make a petrol engine one, haven't found one yet so might get the battery ones and change it to an engine power, looking at the hire one it looked straight forward to replace the motor with a Honda 5.5 or similar.

We hired a 120 the other day..... and found it only made it to 10.8m leaving us short. Got a feeling 12m is measure to top of operator's head. Also, slewed round, as you do, went to slew back and the fecker got stuck, wouldn't slew either way, leaving me in a position where I couldn't lower back down because of a roof and another tree! Ended up with my mate having to manhandle the thing round so I could lower. Also, with these, when you're at max height you've got burger all reach. We returned the 120 to the hirer and they scrubbed the invoice for us and we've booked 170 out for next week instead. Make sure you go for a bigger one than you think you'll need!
