Bracket on Thuja

I'd appreciate some guidance on this somewhat degraded bracket plus another bracket on the opposite side of the tree, although this one was covered in cement dust. I found these on a Western redcedar. I'm inclined to say Gano but am happy to be corrected.

No need for me to add

 

 

I would offer up that it is more often useful than not, to cut a slice out of any bracket so that we can see flesh, & pore layer (strong bladed knife or silky)

 

 

that can be an enormous help with Id Dave :thumbup1:
