Hi, the bottom feed roller has moved to the left and started to eat into the side of the machine. I have noticed this on a few 190, does anyone know how to solve the problem. Ive taken it apart an everything appeared fine put it back together and it was central until i ran the machine and it moved back to the left. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Usually happens when something gets stuck in one side. But it may be something else as if you stripped it down you would have found something like that. check the frame the rollers and motors are mounted in for cracks etc as i have just seen one snap last week its a weak point on these machines as the part is shard between them and the 150 according to the dealer here.

Hi Timb

The feed rollers have free play each side to ensure free running and will always tend to favour one side or other. Generally they will travel towards the motor end.

Any problems with wear against the side of the roller box will not occur if the two surfaces are kept well greased. The greasing regime is outlined in the machine manual service schedule and should be carried out at a minimum of 50 hour intervals.

Timberwolf Technical will give you any service information required, you can call them on 01449 765820

I had this problem and found that it was due to the polly bushes at either end of the feed roler shaft being worn , this happened to mine at about 350 hours , our machine was greased every 30 - 40 hours and well loked after . my advice would be to either change the polly bushes (which is not as strait forward as it would seem ) or get your locall dealer to do it . IMO the sooner you get that done the better !!!!!
