Todays work, milling oak butts into decent timber. Thoroughly recommend this chap, Tim Barber (01986 788559) from Harleston Norfolk, if you are looking for someone with a mobile mill. Apologies for the poor quality pics, had the phone camera in a protective case today!

The last butt (last pic) we got 15foot 8x8 beams from, beautiful timber, cut really mellow. These were pre-ordered for a building. Timber all sourced from the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook Suffolk.

PS no hernias, lifting courtesy of a Weidermann tractor.

hey nice work you two, good to use the wood once you have cute it down, done some similar work using a portable woodmizer then building a timber frame building from sawn timber. this is a pic of what we did thanks paul
