I would love to see all the clever modifications made to vehicles and espesically plant to make forestry/arb use of them.

For example, I have often thought that a dumper truck must be adaptable into a small skidder?

I wish i was clever with engineering, or inventive, but lets see what can be done.

Excellent!!

I was going to bid on a dumper on ebay that had a front loader on it, but was put off by someone who has a dumper and says it wouldn't have much power to drive into a pile of logs or chip??

I sold it last year.

It was not bad in dry conditions, but it had no diff lock so it was a bugger for getting stuck in the mud. The hydraulic winch was also quite slow.

Also having the exhaust pipe next to the seat was great in the winter, but hell and sweaty in the summer.

i might have to steal this dumper idea, i have a spare old 3 ton machine in the bushes and a nice 20000lbs hydraulic winch in the workshop.....
