husky climbing saws

hi every one im looking at getting a new climbing saw and interested in the new husky top handled, has anyone got one and are they any good? at the moment i have a stihl ms201 and to be honest its crap. any advice gratefully recieved

Seems like a good tune of the H &L screws by an experienced chainsaw tec will get the 201 performing well,worth a thought.

ive got the old husky top handle and its fine. probably going for chips now!

Geoff we've tried everything with the 201 but I've still got a bag of nails that runs better, from what I hear Stihl have finally admitted they have a problem with them

Thats a shame Tinlid,some folk seem to say the same as you, others love them,maybe theres a batch problem,be interesting to see any outcome.

Hmmm.... I smell a conspiracy.... How does anyone get a look into a marketplace which has been so totally dominated by one saw...?

 

When it's replacement comes along, the machine which will no doubt stitch up the market for the next decade, you pay loads of people to say it's rubbish....

Trust me haven't been payed a penny it's just crap, pick up is very slow dies when hanging on strop doesn't cut as quick, you get the idea
