Yes Billy, that could be a good reason! Lets hope thats it!

 

The main fuse runs direct from the ignition, so check its live either end of the fuse holder, mine had corroded and was giving an intermittant signal at one stage!

Been using mine again today without, but with the roller speed set at half way on the valve, its amazing what it will take! We have always had it on full before:blushing:

Yeah its cool with really sharp knives, but on the big bits you have to operate the controls yourself to emulate the no stress, especially when the knives are dull. I keep meaning to replace mine, but always have something better to buy so it hasnt been done lol.

There was one moment it got close to stalling today Tom, when we had almost finished we had filled the hopper with all small bits of brash, you know the stuff, last pickings before raking. Ben struck her up and it started feeding and as soon as he walked away, it grabbed an 8" piece of 3 foot long log that had been buried in the twigs. Sure made it bark, and how it never stalled Ive no idea!

Too true, for the few faults they have, its nothing in comparison to most other makes.

 

I will have to be vary desperate to change to another make:thumbup1:
