REF new 2.2 engine one land rover 90/110 has anyone got one

HI yaffle yes I've drive about 6 2.4 now but this one today was the best have you got yours remap or not thanks jon

I drove a mates the other day (all day, 300 and some miles) a 110 double cab with the 2.2. It was limited at 83-85, felt like it was just ticking over, if you took the limiter it would do a ton no worries, even on the BFG MTs! I think I averaged about 36 per gallon too, which is good. The nicest Landrover I have ever been in without doubt, it copes with the rough too - hes a keeper on a grouse moor and would have sold it if it didnt manage off tarmac, he reckons it tows 4t no problems. Smart in Keswick Green and all...

 

 

If I had the cash I'd buy one tomorrow.

HI SAM the new ones are all now limited mate the 2,4 will pull 85 but just look out for the cross winds mate as you will kill your self mate jon

Td5 is ok once you learn to drive it with a bit more rev. Its not actually revving high just sounds it compared to the 4cyl 300 tdi
