I've got a 53 plate Corsa Van, done 68k and very good nick inside and out. I used it to commute each day, as its very cheap van to run.

Problem is with the injectors (i believe), the van runs ok, bit smokey, but it doesnt run true and has no guts at all. It sucked some water in last spring time and i have never got round to sorting the problem properly, partly cause I'm not sure of the money involved, and secondly I bought a new to me pick up so the van wasnt needed anymore so i SORN'd it and its sat on my drive since.we changed the filters, oil and serviced it but no better.

I need it gone, shall i stick it on ebay as it is, fork out on repair or call around the breaker yards? Any ideas what i might get for it as it is?

Price at a breakers is shot at the moment... I looked at it for the van I had but they were going to give me £250, 2002 Peugeot Partner that was.

i reckon roughly it may cost 750 to repair, then if it only made 1k i may as well get shot for 250 quid?!

If i was you for the hassel of having the work done, cost and then may be even struggling to sell it after personally i would stick it on ebay for £250 and anything else if a bonus.

I bet she was still going though? I know what you mean i had been frettin with changing my L200 but its only done 26k on a 54 plate, got a 07 tranny tipper and just going to run the L200 in the ground and use it for gritting. :thumbup1:
