hmmmm doesn't work for me im afraid, think its the font. trees quite cool though

what would you change with the font if you dont mind me asking?

i did think it could do with some colour, but then i thought its going to be on quotes and invoices printing them off its better all black really cost wise.

Job to say really...I think it certainly needs to be bolder....it makes quite a weak statement as it is in my eyes. I also think it would look neater if the letters followed the circumference of a circle rather than oval. It just looks wrong. But thats just my perception if course.

I agree with Steve that the font is wrong, it looks a bit amateur I think, needs to be a bit classier.

I think you are right that the tree would look better, possibly 2 colours. Maybe brown for the JH trunks and green for the branches would emphasise the JH which IMO is a bit lost.

We used to print our own 2 colour headed paper on inkjet but it did turn out expensive. We then found it was actually cheaper to buy it ready printed.

Just thoughts, not criticism.

the big version does look abit odd i do admit, maybe it will be better looking at it as it will be on a invoice/quote heres a old 1 and new 1 to compare. i cant make my mind up which 1 i prefer.

First one looks like a ball of wool on a stick

Have you tried the text under the tree pic? like your old one ?It might be because the text is arround the image but not in a complete circle? it might look different with a line circling the text? if that makes sense.

I like the image by the way, always fancied a tatoo with my little girls name in the branches of a tree

I like it.... and I know a thing or two about a thing or two... :thumbup1::biggrin:

If you do want to try something different then yes, you could use a slightly dfferent font which lengthens the word by broadening each letter, but stick with one of the sans serif fonts, they're a bit more modern which works well with this monochrome design. Try all text below on 2 lines, may or may not work better.... And don't bother with colour, will end up cluttered....
