Has anyone seen this rope walker set up?

I was thinking of trying it out, it's a bit Heath Robinson I know but I don't have a problem with that, has anyone used it?

Would the LOLER inspector just laugh at it and throw it away?:001_rolleyes:

Cheers

And I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem with LOLER, the PPE element only goes so far as the hitch doesn't it... if they're being picky then the footloop & pantin grab / croll could be inspected, but the bungee & carbine hook aren't load bearing....

Only the hitch and HC would be LOLERD.

Ok,WW, do you mean just replace the Croll with the Pantin, have it in the same position, as I have one that I don't use?:001_smile:

Sounds as though LOLER would be ok, thanks DM, thought maybe the bunjee attatchment would be scrutinized :thumbup1:

I really have to give it a go, seems you may save so much energy, especially on long ascents or short for that matter!
