carpal tunnel

Went into hospital today to get my elbow looked at, as i had a car crash a few years ago and have had a growing bump on my elbow. Mentioned also the pins and needles in my hand and weakness.

Found out that the bump was glass and bone growing round it.

That i have broken the radius bone in my forearm at some point, all mended now but never knew that.

My left elbow had had a split through it from when i broke my humerus bone, which i was never told.

And finally that it was carpal tunnel in my right hand, So have got a 2 in 1 combo local op for the elbow and nerve.

Dr reckons 2-3 weeks off work? does this sound about right?

Not to bad for a 22 year old i think :)

i was back at work 3 days after the op last year, combo op for CTS and triggering,, although that wasn't climbing,, and to be honest,, i couldn't really use the hand for a good month.. and by then all strength in my arm had gone,, seriously look at alternatives to the op for CTS as hind site is a wonderful thing,, they cured one problem and gave me another that is far worse than the carpel tunnel
