A lad I know asked what saw to buy as his band saw is to small to brake down logs for wood turning. I told him to buy electric 1, plug in and go. Advice on makes welcome.

If he is working indoors then I suppose it has to be electric . ( Husqvarna , Makita etc) I have no experience of the electric ones but all my life on 2 stroke saws . If he is working out side , or could, with no inconvenience the get a petrol one as he wont be restricted if he needs to go further a field . just a thuoght . Regards Andy.:001_smile:
