Bit of a long shot this one but if you don't ask you don't get:001_tongue:

Having been reading over all the SJ threads, watching the vids, asking the questions I have decided that I WANT ONE:lol:!

But, its a lot of money to spend (especially when i don't have any at present!) and i would like to try before i buy. I've asked people round here but no-one has one, so...

Does anybody have a spare one/older model that they don't use very often that they would be willing to lend me for a week or two? If so I'd pay postage and packaging both ways:001_smile:

If not, i'll keep saving my pennies, but just thought i'd ask:biggrin:

Quick bump, I know its pretty quiet at the weekends:biggrin:

Someone tell me if I'm asking too much, I know its an expensive bit of kit!

Is not expensive at all as you'll use it all the time and it will last for years.

Not meaning to throw a spanner in the works but before splashing on an SJ, have you read the past and current threads on SRT? Especially the Rope Wrench Feedback thread.

Just a thought.

Good luck.
