I am looking for a package to use on an iPad and a laptop, a purely online/cloud system wont work as I am often in rural areas with no data coverage, but I do want to be able to sync/backup between devices and to a cloud.

 

It needs to do the following, for 2 separate businesses:

 

Store client details

Produce a quote, in pdf, and email it out.

Produce a list of outstanding jobs.

Convert quotes to invoices, and email pdfs

Track payment of invoices.

Export data to csv or excel.

 

Any thoughts?

I use invoice2go on the ipad.

You can buy a version for the desktop that you can then sync your ipad to but I think that the PC version costs about £70 a year.

As you know Pete, I don't have any experience in this sort of thing. But i stumbled upon a thread where Quickbooks was being praised. From what was being said, its worth a look I think.

Peter, I use Docs2Go for all of the above.
