6 days would have been taking the micheal, 10 is outrageous!

 

cant see the justification for removal over retrenchment.

no bracing needed, the reduction wuld suffice for over a decade, would love to see the wound thats caused the concern, and the decay organism thats doing the rot. stinks a bit this one if you ask me.

Has anyone read the book 'YEW' by fred hagender? cracking book goes in to the lenghts people have gone to to try and save ancient Yews from the wrath of insurance companies. One has some sort of bracing arrangement inside the hollow truck which expands with the growth of the tree.

Im currently reading his the heritage of trees, a brilliant book i cant put down at the moment, I will get this one you suggest, he is a good writer with great info:thumbup1:
