....I never get that feeling, same wage; day-in, day-out :sad: Am I missing out on something guys ?? :confused1:

 

We may be john yes, but then we have the Local government pension scheme xx amount days paid leave a year and are fairly safe in a recession, paid sick leave etc etc, perhaps it ain't so bad!:confused1:

Its not so sweet at the moment, 1 in 4 jobs are due to go just before Christmas, I'm even thinking of getting the CV up to date !

Yes!!!But your also missing that sinking feeling you get when the job does not go so well or the chipper starts to make a funny noise :scared1:

 

or when one of the guys on teh squad doesn't tell you the tractor wont come out of the crawler box, and it has to get towed home all 20 miles. on a friday night:sneaky2:, but i'm home the rest of the squad are still on the road to the yard:001_cool:

Its just great to be able to push on for a bit...just for laugh and the craic!

Ive been in the trade for some years and done my share of serious hardwork!

So whats wrong with the good old days? Zenfordinners hubby could prob tell a story or two...on the good side is when the jinx gets you, I dont have to panic, I will still get paid in full.:001_smile:

I try my best to be optimistic, positive and upbeat even when the chips are down. I get angry when guys start wingeing on the crew. Some guys soon click into negative mode.

I thrive on the good and bad times. Bring it on, never give up and ride the high when ever you can. Whats the alternative?

 

True, the economy looks bad. If your gonna go down, go down fighting!

Did the other two Salix alba 2day b4 Teabreak. Managed to get 3 Birches in b4 end of the day! Im still with the flow....wonder if my 020 will seize 2morrow:001_unsure:
