Can anyone tell me please whether they no of any problems the towable Greenmech Quadchip 160's have? Am considering buying one but am still a bit reluctant as they are still relatively new out and I no very little about them.

Also if there's anyone here using one on a day to day basis could they please give me their opinion and thoughts on the machines overall performance.

Thanks.

I have one, very pleased with it.

Good points:

Chips and feeds really well.

No bottom stop bar.

Turntable.

Chute folds for storage in garage.

Bad points:

Lot of plastic bodywork. (inevitable on a sub 750 kg machine)

Too many electronics.

I don't like the pressed steel hitch, but that comes as part of the base trailer unit.

Overall I think it's way ahead of any other sub750 kg machine out there.

We got one and it works a treat, as above they should come with a proper locking hitch.

Try one if you are in the market! Get the GreenMech man to bring one out. Look on classified ads, there are a couple of them on there.
