Just wondering for the future when my insurance goes down, how much would it cost roughly to put a electric tipper on a truck and tipping body i.e single cab for ranger.

You can do it for under £200 if you use second hand materials.

But

Beware

Insurance companies don't like home fitted tippers so you'd better say it was done professional- It's things like operating switches going wrong could cause road issues.

£200 sounds a bit optimistic, what are you building it with, old newspapers and wallpaper paste?

 

£200 wouldn't even buy a powerpack and the hydraulic components.
