Ok dok,ill make a point of putting a friction saver in. Thanks

I just use a cambium saver with a isc pulley attached with a Mallion. Smooth as ya like and not the cost of a rope guide.plus if you have a spliced eye when removing the cs it should get stuck in the pulley and whip it out.

Finally got the chance to use mine today used it without the sling first climb and found it a bit difficult, then used it with a sling what a difference. I find it much easier to climb with pulling from underneath the SJ. First time coming down took some getting used to, but I am finding it easier every time. Couple of lads I work with found it good as well.

Loving mine now, walking up a branch then jumping across to a higher branch has improvement the speed i move around the canopy but, still struggling with acending beside the trunk,

What method do you use, as when on a prussik i just hip thrust but now on the spiderjack i brute strength pull my way up, but i can't help to think there must be an easier way?

If your against the stem it can be a lot of arm work, especially if you've remembered the feed the rope in technique as you ascend quickly. Pantin, hand ascender and foot loop if you away from the stem and dont need/want to srt it.
