Like others have said visualising where you want it to go makes such a difference. Just accept though some days it'll never go right !!

ive used a throw bag btu to tell you the truth im really really bad at it and its bti of luck if a get it any where near its suppose to go. but it still gets a laugh and i aways draw a crowd from the lads and get a cheer when i finally get the bloody thing up but my climbing rope over a branch is a different matter all together i find if you coil your rope up and throw over you head backwards so that the rope uncoils as it goes i can get it upwards of 25ft with some sort of direction

Ive trained a small gibbon to take mine to the very top,best anchor point. I treat him very well and he even sings a song as he skips to the top.
