Just got three cheques from the tax man for washing my uniform back dated for six years know one ever told me that if you are provided with a uniform with a logo on then you can get a deduction on your tax code for washing it, so nice little bit of cash for Xmas

perhaps i'd better start getting logo's on our boiler suits....... i like getting money back from the taxman, though i did get £35 cheque back this morning!! Better than a bill!!!!!!

Makes you laugh when you owe him money he is all over you but he don't tell you about all the things that you can claim for

yep just a letter saying who you work for how long and you national insurance number and the type of work carried out as there is a scale for what you get paid and state I would like to claim back tax and could you change my tax code accordingly simples they will only back pay six years
