Just got three cheques from the tax man for washing my uniform back dated for six years know one ever told me that if you are provided with a uniform with a logo on then you can get a deduction on your tax code for washing it, so nice little bit of cash for Xmas :thumbup:

I never new that either. Do you re on they will back pay for 10 years?

 

Did you just contact the tax office about it?

 

yep just a letter saying who you work for how long and you national insurance number and the type of work carried out as there is a scale for what you get paid and state I would like to claim back tax and could you change my tax code accordingly simples :thumbup: they will only back pay six years
