ok I have only used a blakes and currently use a prussik. Looking at hitch climber at the moment.

Now to the question

 

If climbing with 2 ropes do you need a hitch climber setup for each rope?

Sorry for all the questions but...

 

Did you find it easy to get on with, I know things take time to get used to but just want the info before making my mind up.

I got on fine, though it did take a week or two. As long as you can deal with pulling above then tending slack you should be fine. It's easier to get about with than a prussik etc. as it'll generally be closer to you, depending on what hitch you use.
