tough reduction on 2 chestnuts,council spec was 30% red on both and 10% thin,the larger 1 on the left was the hardest some1 had been up both and made some nasty cuts,did what i thought was best.pics dont tell the true story.maybe over thinned the left hand 1 but like i said had some nasty previous large limb removal cuts so thought better to lighten the weight on some limbs that had reacted to bad pruning cuts leving weak points all over back the main stem.
