Cheers guys looks like the sthil it is. Good point about just needing one fuel can

 

look at a honda 4 stroke so no mixing and plenty of power and less money then the sthil have the strimmer and good bits of kit . if using it a lot like for a hour or so then look at a backpack one the handhelds can become heavy after using one for a time. been doing leaves and my shoulders ached after using it most of the day. will for this leaf fall be looking at getting a honda back pack blower.

have a lot more power than the hand helds.

I find it is, it blows at the leaves and in the direction you want them rather than just at the floor, in which case moving debris is just a minor side affect....:thumbup1:

+1 the flat hose is good for directional work. as for shreeding leaves unless dry forget it just as quick to blow and pick up plus the suction unit is a pain to put on and off and on wet leaves blocks up all the time. given up using it unless dry then saves a lot of time.
