IMO all terrains are rubbish off road, last winter i bought 4 kuhmo mud terrains (30/9.50) for my fourtrak at 244 quid delivered from camskill in cumbria,25 quid to get them fitted,18k miles now they are half worn, bit noisy on road but not that bad,off road they're awesome,i was going to change to a/t's in the summer but i can live with them :001_smile:

I'd avoid buying second hand tyres, even if they look half decent, you dont know what kind of abuse they've taken.

If cost is an issue for £250 you could get a decent set of mid range tyres like Kumho, Falken or Vredestein supplied and fitted with a warranty.

good points and i'll add I used to use part worn many years ago,for some reason they always wore badly and prematurely, ending up in false economy
