I put these bad boys off for ten years, wish I hadn't. Green houses one side, large pond the other, house to the north, chickens to the south! Whats more I didn't charge a penny! Why you ask? Cause my misses gave me an ultimatum, either the trees go or she goes, there's no contest, trees can't cook!

I didn't really want them out, connies are great places for certain nesting birds like greenfinches and we had a colony of house sparrows using then to shelter in. But the view I've got now is great.

Did you get platform sick?

 

i have been hating it, only today though because of the wind blowing the conifers about so much it feels like your moving all over the place, but this platform is pretty damn solid really.

so the 3rd day into this job, bang on target if anything ahead of scedule but cant move through it quicker because we have a set work permit where we are on site which areas are cordoned off etc etc so we finally finished the hedge and we dismantled the 2 smaller conifers glad to see the back of the hedge :biggrin: bring on the big saw action tomorow with the straight fells :001_tt2:

 

 

the last picture is gareth getting excited because we have finished with the hedge :thumbup:

Nice work looks very good, bet you are so glad to be doing some felling now.

Shame it is still Conifers.

 

ooo yes we are very glad to be off the hedging, sure we will be moaning tomorow though when theres a big pile of conifer to be chipped :001_rolleyes:
