conny bashing

had this big job to do been weighing on my mind for awhile now finally good to crack into it, shame my truck is in for repair so not helpful. least i have good old gareth with his trailer ro help out. this hedge is trim the sides and 1 meter off the top. we had to sign in have inductions etc etc so only got 4 1/2 hours actual work done today but we have cracked all one side pretty much, got another 2days on the hedge then onto the bigguns at the back to fell, thats when the big 40yarder skip is coming in to take some of the chip. i no its wrong time of year to trim conny hedges but company just wants it done before xmas so who am i to say. more pics as the job goes on, sure gareth has some of me driving the platform down the road

me and gareth really are sick of them but least we have a platform for this so its easy work just boring really radio ear defenders help alot

 

i dont envy my self either only 5 more days on this site all conifers

now we have one side completely trimmed and that side topped, we now have one half of the hedge completely done sides and tops, so tomorow is going to be easy day just trim half the side and half the tops abit windy for it today though :sneaky2
