Lovely looking bit of kit but pricey. I've just ordered a pinto for my current strop and could add a short prussic with ring if i felt i needed it. Would do the same job imho and you'd have enough cash left over for few private dances , but thats another story.

From the look of your avatar mate, the last thing you need is another rope lol. Seriously tho, a lad I work with has one and I don't think they're worth the money. Could make one up a bit cheaper I reckon. They do look a handy bit of kit though.

I think there's a worrying trend with all this Teufelberger "CE approved" stuff - they're based on combinations of readily available components, but given CE approval and sold as pricey kits. What happens when insurance companies or HSE turn round and say that you're only in proper compliance if using a CE approved kit?

I brought one a while back because i like things tidy so prefer splices over knots. It hasnt let me down, worth the money well kind off..

They are great bits of kit but so dear...

I'm splicing now so just going to splice my own with my preferred rope/cord when its needs replacing the hardware will be reused of course.

Works very well srt and dbrt. Easy to put together by individually buying the hardware.

Like i said i brought it before i could splice as i'm ocd about splices haha! I dont regret it.

make what you will of that :)
