200t CARB Strainer

Iwas blowing out my fuel filtration hole on the carb, the one that gets 'caked in ****!' and were a bit heavy-handed with the air hose and blew the strainer away! Anyway my question is, does anyone know if an improvised strainer could be made up?

No. If you want the saw to run ok buy a new filter

Yes - just buy a new carb kit for the carb and insert the new mesh filter and save the rest of the kit for when the carb needs it. It wont cost much over £10 just make sure you get the full kit.

hi Spud, I keep the Walbro ones in stock, OK, I know this is a Zama carb but the walbro ones fit well enough. They come in packs of 10. I am home now so I dont have the part number to hand but can PM it to you on monday if you like.

I find it cheaper to fit a new one than grovel round on the floor trying to find the one I have blown away!
