Photos Needed! Please read..

Hi all,

 

I run a forest education website which will be fully active by next year: Home - ForestExplorers.co.uk -

 

We have a photo gallery which I am in desperate need of filling with pics!

All photos will be uploaded to the gallery on the website and also on our mobile app.

 

We are looking for anything suitable for viewers of all ages. Trees, leaves, fungi, carvings, seeds, wildlife - and so on...

 

All photos will appear with your name if you wish so. Please email any pics to: [email protected]

 

A brief description of each photo would be great. Please pass this message onto anyone who you think can help. No photos will be used for financial gain.

 

And if anyone would like to help with the project in any way, please get in touch,

Website is not working, but I have a few photos you are welcome to use.

 

What kind of size would be best ? most of my files are pretty large and will need resizing before I mail them.

to: hamadryad , no this is not a charity. it is an education fun website run by myself and a small handful of other volunteers. We rely on photos and other documents from people like yourself who email it to us and we transform it into the website etc..

Do you have any idea of what you would like?

 

would you like somebody to write a short introduction to the kingdom fungi and their importance in forest ecology adding photos relevant and eye catching to inspire?

 

or something else entirely?

How about linking that also to veteran trees and deadwood? along with the other various animals that find homes withing this complex ecology of trees and fungi?

We would welcome any thing you may be willing to provide. We have around 300 schools subscribed and we are also in the process of contacting private groups and colleges etc..

This sounds like a perfect oportunity to promote woodland ecology and fungi, I am feeling a bit under the weather at the mo but will defo do something along those lines for you. If you dont here from me inside a week give me a reminder.

Website is looking good. Not sure if any of my pics would be of any use to you and Hama probably can give you much better quality ones than i have.
