Polyurethene disaster almost made me cry

Thanks but the only thing with those systems it involves mixing etc....

 

 

I really want the put it on and there you go sir! Cause I'm lazy in this respect. :blushing:

 

I'll have to have a drying room where I can increase the temp I think.

Hi Rob

A lot of varnishes and lacquer can be affected by what you put on underneath the final coat

Cellulose on top of acrylic etc

but i bet you knew that anyway

 

 

Yes but it was only half that had not gone off the other half had gone pretty hard... and it said on the tin it would go over other treatments.....

 

I think it was down to cold temperatures....

 

Lesson learned but I wish it hadn't been such a big lesson :sneaky2:
