true i always advertise to clients as a cubic meter, but i thought the good people of arbtalk would know what i mean

 

The cubic meter bags are pretty rare, the bulk bags that builders use are not a cubic meter.

 

They are generally 800mm cubed or 900mm cubed,meaning they are well under 1MC often they are only 0.6MC.

thing about these bags is they dont even contain a tonne of sand! i got a bulk bag of sand for the builder doing my house and on the delivery ticket it says they contain approx 800kg.:001_smile:

That because sand can come wet so that should be the dry weight. Bit like logs for water content really; anyone selling by weight should knock 20 - 50% off. Best stick to volumes.
