I have both tachyon and blue tongue (essentially poison ivy). The tachyon is super stretchy and I also found imori quite strechy, when I had a play with it. The Blue Tongue is nice to handle and much more static making it easier to work with. By far the best of the current ropes IMO its also a much more sensible colour for a rope used in a tree.

So I've been usin my new Poison Hivee for a few weeks now and really like it. It defo feels much thinner than my Xtc 13mm but I'm wearing those thin rubber coated gloves now and that makes everything much easier.

I climb on a lockjack and the Hivee is so smooth through it, both up and down.

One curious point though is that on other rope threads plenty of people say they don't like Hivee as they feel it's too bouncy, favoring Imori or Tachyon. Well I used Imori yesterday and found it really bouncy by comparison. Also when the Imori got wet it was horrible in the Jack while the Hivee wasn't.

Just my opinion but I feel I've made the right choice.

Hopefully this helps someone to make their decision. I chose Hivee by reading all the rope threads on here.
