Training options

Hi

Am new to this and need advice on training. Is the college course option better/cheaper than doing several separate courses starting with CS30? Is it just down to personal preference or is one approach recommended?

Seen this 6-week course too for over 5000 quid. Would get the training done quickly I suppose but is it worth the money? Any opinions?

Thanks a lot for any help

The company has a good reputation, and if getting your tickets in a short period of time is of utmost importance to you then its probably not a bad option, just don't be thinking you're going to come out of the course 'fully qualified and ready to tackle anything'....you'll have your tickets and be legal, but thats where the learning begins.

Fair enough, Thanks Steve.

Will get some training and experience asap.

TRAINING inc. knowledge commencement + ASSESSMENT (ideally after a period of skills consolidation, i.e. 3-6 months...but seldom happens) + EXPERIENCE with mentoring and knowledge enhancement (for a minimum period of 18-24 months) = COMPETENCE (hopefully) + further EXPERIENCE (another 24-36 months) = PROFICIENCY with increased competence and knowledge.

Just trying to emphasise Steve's point really that the ticket, in reality, is evidence of a basic standard of skill.

Enjoy..

Paul
