I'm interested how the general consensus in one thread is that slagging off other professionals is unacceptable and in this thread its fine.

Pity.

I think the thing is that most of us "cutters" don't like paper work.

I know T/O's that are great to deal with, talk sense, pragmatic, will meet you on site and try to make my life easer, but others are just really hard work don't seem to want to help in any way.

Why is there so much difference?

If one can be helpful so could all!

That tree has no future, it will BECOME dangerous if it isn't now, so why not just tell Dean to send in a notification and replace, what harm would that do?

It would make Deans life easer, and he would be more inclined to consult the T/O in the future.

Cheers for that Ben, I will have a go online next time, sounds complicated at first but until I try....

I'm sure it will become very easy after a few goes.

Where do you download the plan of the garden, from the LA website ??

Most of my Plans come from Derbyshire County Council web site. Nottingham City do good ones too. Land registry can also supply them but you have to pay a couple of quid. Not sure/bothered about copyright.....

What I have found is that it will not enable you to send unless you have all the info they require. Some bits you don't need, but they won't send the application without them. I tick the box which says I'm sending it by post and mark it as not required. Not had any complaints yet. What would you TO's say. It is a bit of a faff to start with but I like it. You can also go back and check when you applied ..

I've just been onto Calderdale website and there's no facility to do online applications, so I have emailed the TO to ask if there is anything in the pipeline for online applications.

Let's see what they say :001_smile:

I suppose it comes down to personality. TOs are human just like tree workers! Some are easy going - some aren't. :D

Remember we haven't seen the site. Just some photos.

You dont have to fill in 4 copies you know Dean, you can just do one and photocopy it...

Just got a reply back from the to and apparently they sent me a letter explaining that only one copy of the application form is now needed :blushing:
