Right then, I've emailed my Dutch local suppliers to ask if they'd be happy to chuck it in the post if I go there and pay for it etc, as Stihl NL also ban the sending of saws.

I'm going over by train though so cannot take it myself. It should also make the VAT thing easier as they should charge no vat if goods are exported but would need either an official export certificate from the port authorities or proof of international postage. The latter is far easier to achieve and I'm not certain if for the export certificate etc you'd need to pay as well, apart from the extra hassle I'm not prepared to go through as traveling across two counries on lots of different trains (13 trains last trip) with twin 4 year olds is quite enough hassle already.

I'll let you know their reply:001_cool:

Have I got this right, I pay them direct, you pick up and post? Sorry bro bit confused, long night last night!

I'd never expect you to lug it around bro :thumbup1:

13 trains with kids, i'd rather climb everest in my undies! Brave man!

If im right there is no import duty as its purchased in the EU.

cheers again
