Just re-read through the thread and noticed how someone used it with the rope wrench so i decided to look at the F8 revovler system as that started as the prototype to the Wrench, in order to use it on a single line and i have pieced the setup together from things normally on my harness, still needs trying mind.

i am loving my new spiderjack when up in the tree but finding it a pain with the initial getting off the ground, iam finding the sj is grabbing sometimes but not others on my new england 13mm rope yet when up in the tree its great, grips and easy to move. (except not all that easy to move with my left hand) How are you guys getting off the ground? do i need a new, thinner rope?

Just start off as if you where climbing with a Hitchclimber and hitch for couple of meters.:thumbup1:

To me it would take out the fun of climbing on the SJ.

Not yet mate i was more thinking on the descending single line problem on a pole.
