You using the Rope Wrench Drew? I am going to try the RW with my spiderjack. I used a RW with a VT and I didn't like the sit back or having to occasionally tend it. Still using my unicender and loving it!

Excuse my ignorance but why use a rope wrench with a Spiderjack? Surely the SJ does all it needs to.

Also, will that be on SRT or DRT?

presuming the rw with spider would be for single line..

yeah still playing with the wrench but just cant get away from the feeling its goin to smack my teeth out as it sits in front of my face. saying that though, for the 10% of the time that the srt tech is needed for me, it works really good. I think that where it will ly for me, Dbrt nearly all of the time and SRT as and when needed. great to have both techs available for when you need them.

Now back to footlock ReDi......

Hmm SRT for anything other than ascending just doesn't feel right to me, but its all personal choice hey! Its like LJ's and SJ's Ddrt don't feel right, maybe thats time....

Redirects,

The one Joe harris uses in the Spiderjackery video looks good, is it the one in VTIO document on redirects done by joe? I couldnt get a good look at it on the vid!

SRT and foot lock strops? multi purpose functionality?

I'm just thinking out loud here.

this is an adjustable footlock prus. based on the "godfather of rope splicing, mr richard hattier" uni tether. This allows you to fl up to the union (or close as poss, which can still be quite a distance) and then shorten with your full body weight in it. can then be used an adjustable cambium saver/redi etc..
