So when is one of you going to come up with a fuel efficient chipper that chips limby 6 inch branches and contaminated green waste with blades that last at least 50 hours between sharpens and also when it comes to the end of the day, it checks it's own fuel, oil, greases itself, sharpens it own blades and puts itself in the garage.

We do them already, but it is an expensive option - its called a groundy! But as a bought in component there is limited warranty and they aren't always reliable. We have no control over their production techniques.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
