I lost £9k in under a year with mine .

They used to be very expensive until the new Navara turned up, they upgraded the model and knocked £6k off the price.

thanks Isuzu!!!!!!

never had any problems with mine, I bought it brand new.

sounded like a crap tractor in the morning though.

I wouldn't buy another tbh.

If its any help Dean, I would definitely get another Hilux though. No idea about the Izuzu apart from that I think they do right with the 3l engine. I think the 2.5l are being screwed a bit too much to get the power....Navara's going pop for example.

Can't believe the new VW pick up is only 2l:confused1:

I had one as a reps tow tug. It did 264k in five and a half years, main dealer servicing was priced right and my dealer was very helpful. It was supremely reliable and quite economical to run getting about 34mpg over a tank which I used to get best part of 500 miles out of. I have never liked push button 4x4 controls as shaft wind up meant that getting it back into 2H was sometimes difficult. But other than that and the bloody taco, I'd have another tomorrow!

I sold mine for £3,250 +,vat and she went to Cyprus.
