What would you do if you couldn't do trees anymore?

This topic is something I've been mulling over for the last month, and I havent come up with any answers yet. As our circumstances and health changes, we cant always do the same tasks as easily. All I'll say from experience, is have a plan in place in case the wheel falls off your wagon.

Aw, go on then.

How about this one from my portfolio?

And back on track, although I'm prepared to do pretty much anything work wise if I had to, I really can't imagine a future career that doesn't involve trees in any description.

I'm doing my job of choice already and I'm too much of a spoilt brat to even think about an alternative.

Thats handy, most people have to attach their saw to a harness, you can sheath yours. Must be a bit warm at times though

if i had to give up joinery / manufacturing, i think i'd like to give driving a serious go. At the moment i only drive when woodwork is slack, it was a dream of mine for many years to put my own wagon on the road. Would love a bonnetted scania / volvo stretched into a timber wagon. But that said, hopefully i am starting my teaching courses in january, either way i like to keep my options open.
