I have an 880 sat on the shelf waiting to be looked at, i got it posted to me using DHL at a cost of £11 thats with a 30 inch bar and chain. Problem with that one is that the fuel leaks into the cylinder when the saw is not being used then it wont start because its flooded. I suspect all it needs is a carb kit, im hoping so anyway.

Sawdust can get trapped and build up between the metering diaphragm and the diaphragm cover. This pushes on the diaphragm opening the inlet valve which allows fuel into the cylinder.

Well happened on my 046 and was easily sorted.

Dave he is a superb 2 stroke engineer. I have yet to find something that he hasnt been able to fix/ find out what the problem is straight away. They tend to push thing through for pro users above the homeowners too if they can, and I was in there the other day and it was only a week turn around for everyone, so I doubt you would be stuck for long.

Mine is here doing nothing for half term anyway if you're stuck.

Very possible, also check the needle valve - classic symptoms.
