Need pictures and are you taking the original off and a new on? Or grafting bits from both. I take it the trailer one is hydraulic as well. A 6.5hp motor probably wont be enough I think or slow cycle time.

Why is yours rubbish? what are you hoping to improve?

well the original just has a ram with no slider brace so it has bent

 

Oh dear, is it the ram thats bent? If it is scrap is bringing a good price.

 

Grafting the pump and motor to another splitter will be simple enough, how ell it willl work will depend on pump flow, pressure and the size of the ram you are powering.
