on a serious note en 397 is tested as a blow to the top and en 12492 is top and side so basically is a superior level so all is good.

Taken from vertex vent

High strength polycarbonate shell protects against impact (EN 12492 and EN 397 standards)

as is the same for type C instead of A

Now if it was chipper and chainsaw muffs that would open a can of worms:thumbup:
